VP/Chief of Product Strategy Dropps.com, a leader in the direct to consumer subscription-based sustainable household products category, is seeking a VP/Chief of Product Strategy to lead the disruptive Dropps brand in its mission to maintain continued, unprecedented success and momentum in the marketplace. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this role will be responsible for strategizing, developing, delivering and executing on our product roadmap and vision. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop a company-wide product development and execution strategy and ensuring alignment with Dropps’ sustainability mission Keep a pulse on the market to understand where consumer preferences are shifting to feed this information back into the produce development process Develop a research and development function within Dropps to identify new opportunities, test new ideas and develop new products that help Dropps maintain its leadership in the sustainable home cleaning products market and beyond Define and execute stringent quality standards for research, testing, product development, ingredients identification, source identification etc. Work closely with teams from the rest of the company to execute on product development plans, taking ownership of the entire process Work closely with Marketing to strategize on product launches, certifications, and related communications Own the delivery and clear messaging of strategy and goals to Product teams and ensure timely delivery against them REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in STEM; MBA preferred 7+ years of experience in a senior management role at a consumer goods company, start-up experience preferred Deep experience owning roadmaps, product strategy and understanding how to rally teams behind and execute upon a thorough long-term plan Strong understanding of all facets of bringing a product to market including market analysis, product-market fit, positioning strategy, MVP's, go-to-market strategy, pricing, testing, iterating based on testing results, etc. Familiar with product development and execution in small, fast-paced environments Ability to collaborate with C-level executives and work collaboratively with a driven leadership team Demonstrated leadership skills to develop and inspire teams Hands-on and the ability to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, deadline driven environment Ability to juggle multiple projects at once, last minute requests and quick turnarounds with a positive attitude Superior communication skills; ability to articulate product goals succinctly and to a variety of stakeholders   PERKS Free laundry at work Unlimited vacation days Flexible work location Health insurance 401K

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this role will bring D2C brand experience with execution competency in the areas of marketing strategy, acquisition, retention, and creative development.  RESPONSIBILITIES Manage brand identity and messaging Develop and drive brand architecture for Dropps and ensure consistency in messaging across all consumer touch points – packaging, collateral, media, PR, online, social media etc. Lead all PR messaging, earned marketing and paid communication strategy Align with overall business goals and ensure every consumer touch point is in line with the business objectives Evaluate and engage outside agencies / consultants as needed to drive best in class execution Incorporate sustainability principles in all aspects of Marketing, internally and externally REQUIREMENTS A minimum of 7 years’ experience in direct to consumer digital brand marketing and brand building Experience with subscription and product-based business Experience with and passion for mission-driven disruptive brands Marketing budget oversight - strong analytical and business management skills with proven ability to manage against revenue and spending budgets, determine return on marketing investments Experience bringing products to market Direct ownership of all digital, media, creative and brand marketing teams Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business or equivalent experience, MBA preferred Ability to work cross functionally with product development, engineers and other disciplines Demonstrated leadership skills to inspire teams Hands-on and the ability to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, deadline driven environment Ability to juggle multiple projects at once, last minute requests and quick turnarounds with a positive attitude PERKS Free laundry at work Unlimited vacation days Flexible work location Health and Eye care insurance 401K
