Job Description

Founders Fund is a digital accelerator for unconventional women identifying founders looking for full circle support (finance, operations, marketing, plus mental health, diversity & inclusion and leadership) to build and scale their businesses.

At Founders Fund, we provide mentorship, education, barrier free funding and community to women identified entrepreneurs across Canada.

Our community (from members, to mentors, funders and team) are made up of unconventional, passionate and socially conscious entrepreneurs.

We’re a small team looking to add a part-time Program Manager to support and coordinate our member programming, community support and general administration.

The ideal candidate is keen to learn about entrepreneurship and has experience in a startup environment (ever changing, fast paced). This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn how businesses are built from the ground up alongside a small team of experienced entrepreneurs.

In this role you will be responsible for :

1. Program support and execution 

    • Ensure programming (mentor sessions, panels..ect.) runs smoothly (supporting program hosts and mentors during sessions)
    • Coordinate scheduling and logistics for programming (events, sessions, meetings...etc.)


2. Community Support and Engagement

    • Respond to general inquiries via the general email inbox 
    • Respond to social media inquires (instagram, facebook, twitter)
    • Post daily in Community Slack channel (articles, support, news, program highlights...etc.)
    • Facilitate open community conversations via daily ‘drop in’ sessions
    • Support and coordinate the launch and maintenance of a weekly podcast that focuses on unconventional leaders 

3. Administration

    • Set up meetings and webinars using Zoom
    • Set up and maintain facilitation tools (slack, zoom, virtual conference tools, IG live, member portal)
    • Editing content for grammar and spelling (newsletters, social posts) 
    • Support executive team in scheduling meetings and events 
    • General organization (google docs, canva...etc.)
    • Document processes and tools (create an operations manual)

This role is remote, 11-3pm ET Monday- Thursday (16 hours weekly) 

Note: This role will be responsible for providing their own computer and reliable internet service 


Skills & Experience 

  • Experience in a startup environment
  • Attention to detail (editing, admin settings)
  • Ability to problem solve independently


  • $18/hr 
  • Year end bonus (dependent on company revenue)

Candidates must be available for a half hour during the following two time slots for virtual interviews (via Zoom video conferencing):

August.19th, 9:30-12pm EST 

August.25th  9:30-11:30am EST (practical interview) 


Start Date: September.14th, 2020 (flexible)
