Job Description

Salary: £55,360 – £61,105 (Grade 8)

LWARB plays an important role in delivering the Mayor of London’s aspiration for the capital to be a low carbon circular city and is a partnership of the Mayor and London’s councils. Over the last five years, LWARB, through its Circular London programme, has become recognised as a world leader in circular economy thinking and practice. We are committed to increasing our impact, providing expert help and advice to London’s local authorities and developing commercial services for businesses and other cities in the UK and internationally.

The programme aims to accelerate the development of a circular economy in London – increasing recycling, reducing waste and thereby addressing the climate emergency by reducing consumption-based CO2e emissions.

We are seeking a skilled analyst and business thinker to manage core elements of our circular economy programme, and specifically those relating to the analytical framework and the tools, methods and data required to support decision making. The successful applicant will be responsible for implementing the knowledge strategy and ensuring that we have a pipeline of well-curated knowledge assets that can be used by our staff and partners to drive change. They will develop and manage partnerships, evaluate impacts and originate and deliver commercial propositions to leverage LWARB’s assets and unique market position. This will include developing innovative solutions to promote the circular economy as well as selling and delivering consulting engagements to local authorities, businesses and other clients in London, the UK and beyond.

London’s diversity is its biggest asset and we wish to ensure our workforce reflects that diversity at all levels. We welcome applications from everyone regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, faith or disability, and actively encourage applications from BAME individuals who are currently under-represented in our organisation
