Job Description


Equileap is a specialized ESG data provider with a broad scope of gender equality metrics. We enable investors to make informed decisions with data on equality in the workplace. Our mission is to close the equality gap in the workplace.

We evaluate companies based on a broad set of gender equality criteria, which include metrics on gender balance in leadership and workforce, equal compensation and work-life balance and policies promoting gender equality.

Our data is used by investors for responsible investing strategies. In addition, we publish regular research reports on the status of gender equality within companies such as our annual Gender Equality Global Report and Ranking (view the publications page). 



Job Type: Full-time

Employment Type: 1-year contract with the potential for a permanent contract

Location: Amsterdam, the Netherlands

Start date: May 2021

You will provide comprehensive and timely analysis of the gender equality performance of companies within various countries and various sectors, allowing investors to incorporate extensive gender equality information into their investment processes. You will also contribute to Equileap’s regular research reports and thought leadership activities. 



  • Research and analyze the gender equality performance of companies and prepare data to be published in Equileap’s gender equality datasets;
  • Participate in quality assurance of the data;
  • Support the preparation of deliverables for clients;
  • Research gender equality trends;
  • Contribute to the development of thought leadership through data analysis, report writing and public-facing activities.



  • Eligible to work in Amsterdam, The Netherlands;
  • (Under)graduate degree in preferably a related discipline (social sciences, business or finance);
  • A strong interest in ESG and the socially responsible investing market;
  • Knowledge of and interest in gender equality issues;
  • Strong research and analytical skills;
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills;
  • Meticulous and attentive to detail;
  • Excellent business English - both oral and written skills (other languages considered a plus);
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Comfortable working with culturally diverse and geographically dispersed teams;
  • Client focused;
  • Independent and flexible.
