Job Description

SUNDAR, a digital innovator in fashion, dedicated to supporting ethical and eco fashion and improvements for people in global supply chains, is seeking a versatile and action-orientated Intern to work in partnership with the CEO and sustainability thought-leaders.  You will be working with our founders, and operations, business development and product teams cross-functionally to drive the next stage of growth in our sustainability strategy across products and innovative technologies.

This is a powerful opportunity to help design, execute and scale a strong commercial and impact-driven vision and mission for the trillion-dollar apparel industry.  SUNDAR is a pedigree, venture-backed early-stage tech company, founded at MIT, and operating at the intersection of B2B, supply chains, fashion and sustainability.

Essential Responsibilities

•    Develop materials to support current and future projects (i.e. dashboards, communications, workflows, presentations, databases etc.).

•    Curate social media content to engage Fashion Designers and sourcing teams around Sustainability and ethical fashion issues such as ending Modern Slavery

•    Work on research and organisation regarding international regulations, processes and standards for environmental sustainability and global labour standards social compliance in the fashion supply chain.

•    Assist with research, data analysis, development and execution of company projects and roadmaps.

•    Act as day-to-day support on team’s initiatives.

•    Respond to ad-hoc requests for internal and/or external customers to ensure alignment of projects and programs.


Key Attributes

•    A passion for ethical and sustainable fashion with fashion sector industry knowledge.

•    Results-oriented, forward-thinking, confident undergraduate or graduate student.

•    An undergraduate or graduate from  concentration on or exposure to Sustainability or CSR or global human rights curriculum.

•    The ability to use all usual Microsoft office packages efficiently.

•    Excellent knowledge of excel.  

•    Interest or experience in social media such as Instagram and Twitter, and using tools such as Canva and Buffer

•    The ability to research and collate data and information for accurate reporting.

•    The ability to write a great email of a standard suitable to release to the whole company, a customer or a supplier.
